El Banco Rojo. An 80’s rock inspired sándwicheria located in San Telmo. I highly recommend las papas fritas with a quilmes cerveza. The owner of this place, much like many folks in Argentina who witnessed the return of democracy to the nation, associates the popular music of that time with the return of democracy because when the region saw democracy that meant they were once again able to listen to any kind of music they wanted.

great story, great papas fritas

"Wearing provocative clothing and saying you’re ‘still not asking for it’ is wearing meat in the ocean and asking a shark not to kill you". Are you really insinuating that men have no more self control than a wild animal? Is it your right to rape a woman just because you can see some skin? Just because someone is cooking food doesn’t give you the right to eat it.

I don’t think any philosopher could map this argument out with any of the premises being true

(1) Men want women in provocative clothing just like sharks would want people swimming in meat bikinis.

(2) Both men and sharks can’t control themselves when they see something they want.

(3) If women realize this, they should be responsible for sexual assault, not their assaulters.

(4) Obviously, women should be aware of this.

(C) Women are to blame for sexual assault.

(C2) Some people shouldn’t use arguments by analogy when discussing sexual assault.

(C3) “This guy sounds like a philosophy major pompous asshole.”

Well, maybe (C2) and (C3) are true.
